  3. Welcome to v4.1a of WhereIs.   This version incorporates two major
  4. changes:
  5.  
  6.        1)   The ability to execute DOS commands on any matches
  7.             found, with replaceable command-line parameters.
  8.  
  9.        2)   When doing a regular-expression search (ie: whereis "test"),
  10.             WhereIs now also searches 4DOS description files (if
  11.             you are using 4DOS, that is).
  12.  
  13. These changes are marked in the WHEREIS.DOC file by an '|' character in
  14. the first position of the lines.
  15.  
  16. To registered users of WhereIs:  all diskettes for registered users were
  17.                                  shipped (US Mail) on Friday, 10/26/90.
